All photo submissions are due by 11/30. Contest begins 12/01 and continues through 12/14.

The winner will recieve a free session fee (a $20 value), Package I (a $45 value), and a free hat from Boutiquey Baby- Photographer's choice (a $15 value). In total thats an $85 prize package!

Contest Rules: Please email one picture of your child. Only snap shots will be accepted. Pictures are to be emailed to info@expressionsbynaomi.com . Pictures will be posted on the Expressions Photography Facebook page from 12/01 thru 12/14. Expressions Photography Clients will be allowed to submit one snapshot and choose one picture from any session (for a total of two entries). Votes are counted as "Likes" on the picture. The picture with the most "Likes" will win the contest. Prize package will expire 03/31/2011.

What? When did we get to October?

Wow, this month has just flown by! I have been booked solid and am booked solid for another couple of weeks! I have been so crazy busy, I haven't had time to keep up with the "blogging." I am so grateful for my clients and I am so grateful to be busy, busy, busy doing something I love! Y'all are the greatest!

New changes for 2011!!

This year has been so exciting for me with so many great things happening to my business! At the beginning of the year I was blessed with the opportunity to gain some independence and move into what is now our studio. It was such a huge step for me and it has been so wonderful to have my own space. Since then we have been growing leaps and bounds to the point where I am booked almost every day! It is such a blessing and I am so grateful for it.

Over the past year I have learned many things about how I want to see my business develop and grow. I have always taken pride in the fact that I am able to give my clients professional pictures at an affordable price, because I know how expensive pictures can be. In order for me to continue to keep my prices low and be able to continue to expand my business, I will be making some changes at the beginning of the year.

As of January 1^st, we will be keeping our session fee at $20, but we will be requiring a $100 deposit be paid towards your order on the day of your session.

I have had many people ask me about proof books. I have used an online gallery in order to keep the cost down, but as of January 1^st we will be selling proof books for $25 (this charge is separate from your $100 print deposit).

In the year 2011, we will be offering more mini-sessions for those who maybe cannot afford to spend a lot on pictures or those who just want something new, different, fun, fresh, and quick. The wheels are already turning as to all the new exciting mini-sessions we are going to offer! I can’t wait to share them all with you!

I know you are thinking, why so many changes? It’s simple, to keep my prices low. As of right now, I am not increasing my prices. I’m just requiring a certain amount from each order be paid up front to guarantee I receive an order. I have had experiences this past year that have showed me the “not so pretty” side of this business and if I want to continue giving my clients great pictures, new props, new merchandise, and potentially an even larger location, I have to make money. Bottom line.

I am so excited for 2011 and what is in store for Expressions Photography! I hope you will join me in the next year(s) to continue to make Expressions Photography a great success! I am so grateful for all of you and your commitment to me and am looking forward to all the new and exciting things to come!

Busy, busy in this Fabulous Fall Weather!

Hi folks,

Can we say "I LOVE FALL!!!" This is just the most awesome time of year. I love what comes with the fall weather. Knowing that the Christmas season is just around the corner, it seems that peoples' spirits lighten and we are all just a little more loving and giving to eachother!

October is a super busy month for me. I am almost totally booked for the month! I am so thankful to all my wonderful clients! :) And November is on its way there too! Its not too late to get an appointment! So if you want to capture your family in these wonderful colors, give me a call to book your session. Captured By the Light Tour with David Ziser

Had an awesome time last night with the hubby at the "Captured By The Light" Tour presented by David Ziser. If you haven't seen his work, its AMAZING!!! I love learning new things by these Masters in the field of photography! It was so inspiring!

We had a great time and we even won a door prize, that never happens to us! So cool!

I wanted to give a shout-out to my Expressions girls who were out there showing everyone just how beautiful they are at the Horseshoe Riverbend Pageant!! McKinley, Jessie, Harper, and Maddie! They were all too beautiful!

I am so proud of these girls for doing a great job! I felt like a pageant mom while I was there tonight. My heart was racing a mile a minute waiting on them to announce the winners. That's why I say I'm happy I have boys because pageants are too stressful and I felt it tonight and I wasn't even participating, but I was cheering for my girls! :)

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
